Why Stacking Bars Need Protection
During aging and storage, aluminum profiles are usually stacked in multiple layers with spacer bars placed between each layer.
If bare wood or metal bars contact the profile surface directly, they may leave visible pressure marks or scratches, especially on anodized, polished, or electrophoretic finishes.
Felt spacer sleeves create a soft contact surface between the spacer bar and the aluminum profile, helping maintain surface quality throughout stacking and handling.
